Sam Cooper Gray is a strategic leader, speaker, and advocate shaping the future of female entrepreneurship and SME growth in the UK and beyond. She is the Founder of The Wisdom Studio, a consultancy dedicated to helping SMEs scale with clarity, impact, and intention, and the campaign 'Women Are Good Business'.
As Chair of The Gender Index and Lead of the Conditions to Scale workstream for the UK Government's Invest in Women Taskforce, Sam uses data, insight, and policy influence to unlock economic growth for female-led businesses.
A former Global Head of SME Strategy at HSBC, Sam has spent over 25 years in financial services and more than 30 years in business. She led major global initiatives in social impact and female entrepreneurship — including HSBC's $1bn Female Entrepreneur Debt Fund and the UK's £250m Women's Business Growth Initiative — cementing her reputation as a leader who blends corporate rigour with entrepreneurial empathy.
